Christopher Morales |Associate Attorney
Christopher Morales joined the firm in 2015 to practice immigration full-time. Chris has experience with family law, immigration law and personal injury. His attention to detail and ability to tell his client’s story has enabled him to get favorable results both in court and through mediation, including a one hundred thousand dollar settlement for a member of the armed forces who was injured in a motorcycle accident.
Chris’ also worked for Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid as an intern helping with U Visa and Asylum applications. As a second-generation immigrant and fluent Spanish speaker, Chris appreciates and understands the struggles of making it in a new country. He finds satisfaction not only in getting favorable results for his immigration clients, but in explaining the legal process to them and keeping clients in the loop so they always feel they are part of the process and are making informed decisions.
Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He received his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he served as president of the Latino Law Student Association and was a semifinalist in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s national moot court competition. While in law school, Chris also prosecuted misdemeanor cases for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office in the state of Minnesota. Prior to law school, Chris worked as a journalist for the Deseret News.
